Happy Fish (Additional Needs)

At Westbury Swim School we believe that there shouldn’t be any barriers to swimming lessons. Some children may require a different learning process to accomplish their swimming journey. Delayed communication, language and sensory needs can make regular swimming lessons very overwhelming. Our Happy Fish Classes are a gentle and friendly way to learn to swim. Parents also participate in the class as they wholly understand their child’s way of learning. We augment our classes with visual schedules, p.e.c.s and lámh words for swimming. Children learn how to move and swim with confidence at their level of understanding. Happy Fish classes are small group lessons with a water based teacher.
